My Name is S. Scott Grizzle. Most people call me Scott or Grizz.
Scott Grizzle is a Unified Communications and Digital Workplace executive with more than 20 years of experience modernizing how global organizations connect, collaborate, and communicate. He specializes in building seamless collaboration ecosystems that scale — from UC platforms and AI productivity tools to enterprise video and global digital workplace experiences.
Most recently, Scott led Unified Communications strategy for 300,000 employees at IBM, overseeing a $100M budget and driving modernization across Microsoft Teams, Slack, Webex, and AI collaboration tools including Copilot, Slack AI, and Box AI. His work focused on reducing friction, improving reliability, and enabling distributed teams to work smarter and faster.
Before leading UC at IBM, Scott played a pivotal role in the evolution of enterprise video and streaming as part of IBM Watson Media and Ustream. He built and scaled a global technical organization supporting $30M+ in annual revenue, delivered 10x partner growth through alliances with Samsung, Sony, and AT&T, and helped Fortune 500 companies transform how they communicate at scale.
Scott’s career began in broadcast engineering and live production — a foundation that shaped his belief that communication at scale is both a technical and human challenge.
