In 2006 I was recruited by a Microsoft Technology Partner to lead the Sales Engineering and Evangelism of the Tarari Encoding Accelerator (TEA) : Video Encoding Accelerator / Pre GPU

This was PreGPU days but really was the predecessor of GPU’s for Video Encoding
Microsoft's OEM Gold Partner
Received Development money for TEA product
Helped Develop VC-1 Codec, Encoding, and Delivery
Microsoft's 2006 OEM Gold Partner of the year award
Partnerships with Microsoft, Rhozet (now Harmonic), Telestream, Digital Rapids, ViewCast, Garland Partners, Thompson, Inlet, AVID, Tandberg TV & Telepresence (Cisco)
Customer included: Netflix, Ascent Media, Deluxe, CBS, Canal+, Bloomberg, Dayport, Entriq (CBS Digital) and others.

Responsible for Developing Partnership and Channels along with creating video encoding workflows and solutions.

In 2007 LSI Logic (LSI) acquired Tarari.
My role changed from Sales Engineering and Evangelism to Video SME and the internal Video Consultant. (working on special projects). I became responsible for the next generation of the TEA products, Developed distribution network and channel program. As the internal consultant I was working with the engineering and development teams for the Starlink DSP offering allowing them to work for Video. (telepresence and unified communications project) this became a $350 million ($35 Million x 10 deployments)
Designed and developed new processing boards.
